University Sports Dome

The University of Chichester appointed Lightwave to provide the lighting for a new Sports Dome facility designed to house four indoor tennis courts and three indoor netball courts. The scheme comprised the design and supply of professional, high-level floodlights meeting the standards set by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) for indoor tennis court lighting.

The importance of adequate lighting in tennis can't be overstated and for a professional sports facility such as this, proper illumination was required to ensure that every serve, volley, and drop shot would be clearly visible, keeping players safe and focused. Lightwave was entrusted to deliver a lighting system of the quality, consistency, and efficiency expected by a world-class education facility.
