Lightwave was approached to design and manufacture an LED replacement for existing AR111 halogen lamps installed in the national chain of Whitewall art galleries.

With high performance and colour accuracy as the primary concern, Lightwave worked with a manufacturing company to produce a completely custom LED alternative with a mix of wide and narrow optics to provide uniform coverage of the artwork and a mix of different colour-temperature LED chips to maximise CRI (colour rendering index) to reproduce the most accurate colours.

On the back of this great success, Lightwave was further enlisted to design a concept for halo-lighting wall panels on which artworks were displayed. This was accomplished with flexible LED tapes and contrasting colour back panels.
